We are pleased to announce that Home Market and SEPD are once again joining hands to organize the 16th branch of "Home Market's Convenience Store" in Yuen Long. The store is located at Shop 11, Ground Floor, Hing Lung Centre, 29 Shoushou Street, Yuen Long. This convenience store aims to provide affordable groceries and essential products for the local residents and grassroots community, as well as offer convenient shopping opportunities for the neighborhoods and members. It also aims to create more employment opportunities for the less privileged groups that have specifically hired, likes disadvantaged women, mid-career changers, persons with disabilities, newcomers to Hong Kong, and long-term or part-time employees who need to care for their family members, providing them with a stable working environment and income source. This initiative not only contributes to employment growth but also promotes social inclusion and support for those circumstances that put them at a disadvantage compared to others in society.
